They have three Key-Account Manager (Business Development) positions available in the Western Cape. The focus of these positions is to be the grower's resilient, agile and innovative partner in integrated sustainable agricultural and garden solutions, ensuring healthy soil, safe food, and safe gardens through bio-solutions that are backed by science and loved by nature.
Purpose of the positions:
To build relationships with the distribution partners and with the growers, to lead and guide the Key Account Manager support incumbents within the relevant distributor to achieve the required outcomes of strategy, work in conjunction with the team: Customer Liaison, Distribution, Production, Research & Development, Solution Development, Strategic Planning, Business Analytics, Market Development, Sales, Public Relations and Environmental Social Responsibility, Finance and Reporting.
Provide support with trials, product development; solution development, collect information, registrations, build relationships through agents and distribution partners to ensure that farmers/growers are using the company’s products to optimise yield potentials of safe food in healthy soil, adding to their profitability and sustainability.
Interactive and integrated communication is a critical aspect of this position to ensure that meaningful information is gathered and shared to ensure the development of a mindful and agile organisation.
Qualification/s: Tertiary qualification in Agriculture, BSc Agric, Environmental or Natural Sciences, AVCASA.
Technical knowledge: applied experience with relevant crops in the area, e.g. citrus, grapes, potatoes, maize. Knowledge about crop programmes, reports, graphs, budgets. Have knowledge of crops and diseases and pests and farming practices.

Willingness to develop front wheel and back wheel.
Ability to be able to persuade and influence to enable the sale. Presentation Skills.
Drivers license - need to visit clients and agents. Extensive travel and being away from home are required.
