An internationally established subtropical fruit production and export company is seeking to appoint a driven and ambitious Marketing Manager. They need a candidate with a solid track record in trade, marketing and category management whilst integrating sales and planning in a multi-channel environment. Provide strategic leadership and operational support to your management team. The candidate must have an in-depth knowledge of the fruit supply chain, and management thereof. Must have experience in trading and marketing of fresh produce.
Skills / Qualifications / Experience:
Tertiary qualification relevant to the position (marketing, agriculture, business management)
7+ years’ experience in FMCG and or fruit marketing to foreign/local clients in traditional and developing markets
A comprehensive market network including market and retail buyers.
Ability to grow revenue through increased market access and quality of trading relationships.
Design, implement and manage sales strategies and plans.
Advanced relationship management skills across the supply chain.
Above-average communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills.
Highly negotiable remuneration package of R800 000 p.a. +.
