A dynamic company in the fresh fruit export industry, with a special emphasis on quality assurance and superior relationships with their growers and customers, is recruiting a Procurement Specialist, based at their offices in Johannesburg. They handle a wide product range from citrus, stone fruit, table grapes, and berries. Their mission statement: "To service our customers with the right quality at the right time".
Responsibilities: Procurement of fruit, liaison with growers, growing programmes and coordinating of logistics, stock movement administration, product development of new lines. Requirements: Preferably a tertiary qualification, BSc Agric or National Diploma in Horticulture/Agronomy/Food Technology, or B.Com with 5-10 years experience within the fresh fruit supply chain. Must have excellent interpersonal skills, be willing to travel, administration skills, and possess good communication skills.
