COFCO International South Africa (Pty) Ltd has an opportunity for a Product Administrator - Trade Finance. The purpose of this function is to perform a variety of support tasks in the Business (Product) Control division of the Finance Department, ensuring the product data and information is current and accurate. The candidate must demonstrate a strong accounting background with excellent attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
Job Functions
 Administration
 Data Capturing
 Reconciliation

 Ensure all data received is accurate and consistent in its format.
 Assist product control team to ensure ERP system (Trading One) data is accurate
o Reconciliation
o Flag issues
o Update data
o Capturing data
 Support product control team with monthly reports.
 Support product control team in Broker capturing and reconciliation
 Providing all administrative support to enable the product control team to meet all its daily
and month-end deadlines.

 Accounting Degree or Diploma
 5-10 years experience in accounting with a key focus on reconciliation
 Advanced Excel Skills: VBA, Macros, Pivot tables, Lookups, advanced Formulas
 Attention to detail
 Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
 Good communication skills, English and Afrikaans
 Must be willing to work after hours

 Ability to work under pressure while always maintaining excellent attention to detail and high
a degree of accuracy.
 Ability to work independently with minimal review required.

 Systems driven/tech savvy
 Aptitude for continuous system enhancements and automation.
 Advanced Excel capabilities
 SAP experience
 Grain and Agri industry and/or commodities, markets and derivatives trading experience.
 Reports direct to Grains Controller
 Matrix reporting to Business Controller: SSA
 Basic salary with provident fund and medical aid benefits
Working environment
 Hybrid model – part remote/from home, and part from the office, based in Stellenbosch on
rotation schedules / as required by the business.
 Soft Close and month end after hours requirements.
 Financial year end is December
 Seasonal activities run from March to September
 Probation period applies
 18 days annual leave
