A dynamic vegetable production company, south of Johannesburg, requires a Quality and Food Safety Manager for their vegetable production and packing operation, taking responsibility for all aspects relating to quality assurance and food safety management.
Implementation and enforcement of Food Safety Procedures, Good Manufacturing practices and personnel hygiene management.
Help to develop, maintain and update all records, manuals, training procedures, product specifications as defined in the Food Safety System.
Assist with the preparation for Food Safety audits and Customer compliance visits.
BSc Food Science/Microbiology/Consumer Science/Agric or ND Food Technology
At least 5 years of experience with food safety and quality management systems in low-care or high-care food facilities.
Good interpersonal skills, and managerial capability.
Diligent, team player, must have passion for food safety and quality assurance.
