A dynamic corporate company in the fresh produce industry, specialising in fruit and vegetables for export and local retail markets, is offering a two-week Student Holiday Work Programme in Paarl, Western Cape during the July university break. (6-17 July 2026)
During this two-week programme, students will rotate across Procurement, Logistics, Finance, and Commercial departments, gaining valuable exposure to the full fresh produce value chain; from sourcing and logistics through to sales and financial management.
Outline of the duties: (Training and guidance will be provided)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide general support across Procurement, Logistics, Finance, and Commercial teams
- Assist with daily operational tasks, including planning, coordination, and administration
- Support communication with suppliers, growers, customers, and logistics partners
- Assist with data capturing, reporting, and documentation processes
- Gain exposure to costing, pricing, and basic financial processes
- Contribute to order coordination, stock flow, and logistics processes
- Assist with market insights, sales support, and general business activities
Who Should Apply:

- Applied Plant Sciences (i.e., Horticulture, Agronomy, Plant Pathology)
- BSc or BCom Agricultural Economics/Agribusiness
- BCom (Marketing/Supply Chain Management, International Trade, Finance)
- Any relevant field.
