Tasting Room Assistant SA Wine (1-year internship)

A proud member of SA Wine, a company offering state-of-the-art, temperature-controlled storage facilities and services which include on-demand labeling, and re-work services tailored for export purposes, ensuring compliance with international standards, is looking for a Tasting Room Assistant.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Present wine tastings in their tasting room
• Attend functions and wine tasting events
• Opening and closing of the wine shop
• Work over weekends and occasionally after hours
• Manage stock and perform administrative duties related to the role

Requirements

• 2 years of experience in a similar position is advantageous
• Strong knowledge of wine and a relevant certificate or qualification in the wine industry
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English
• A hardworking nature and taking initiative will be advantageous
• A passion for working with people and a desire to grow within in the industry
• Own reliable transport is a prerequisite.
