They are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Poultry Development Manager to lead the growth of our poultry business across Southern Africa. Reporting directly to the CEO, this strategic role combines technical expertise, business development, and customer engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and grow the poultry business throughout Southern Africa.
- Drive sales performance and achieve profitable growth targets.
- Build strong relationships with poultry producers, feed manufacturers, nutritionists, distributors, and industry stakeholders.
- Provide technical support and expertise on poultry nutrition and feed additive solutions.
- Identify market opportunities and support the introduction of innovative technologies.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and customer engagements.
- Collaborate with internal teams and international suppliers to deliver customer value.
Requirements:
- MSc Agric degree (minimum).
- Registered with SACNASP as a Professional Animal Scientist.
- Minimum 5 years' poultry industry experience.
- Proven success in technical sales, business development, or poultry nutrition.
- Sound knowledge of poultry production, feed additives, and applied nutrition.
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively within Southern Africa.
