The Fresh Produce Exporters Forum (FPEF) is the industry body representing South Africa’s fresh produce exporters. Through its Graduate Placement Programme, FPEF places high-calibre graduates in junior commercial, logistics and technical roles at leading fruit export companies for one year, with the potential for long-term career opportunities. A leading fruit export company with a strong footprint in global markets is offering an internship opportunity for a Data Verification Co-ordinator. The successful candidate will support the Commercial Teams by managing intake and packing list data to ensure efficient packing and loading operations.
Working Hours:
08:00 – 12:00 and 18:00 – 22:00 (including weekends) from 1 November 2025 to 31 January 2026.
08:30 - 17:00 Normal working hours applicable for the rest of the year.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Process EDI files and resolve data discrepancies.
  • Maintain master data and distribute updates to packhouses and depots.
  • Provide Helpdesk support to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Verify intake information and ensure document accuracy.
  • Upload and verify packing lists; distribute EMRs to relevant parties.
  • Ensure compliance with export documentation standards and resolve discrepancies.
Education & Experience Requirements:
  • Matric (Grade 12); a tertiary qualification in Logistics, IT or related fields is advantageous.
  • 1–2 years’ experience in an EDI environment preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel); knowledge of logistics/export systems.

  • Effective communication and relationship-building abilities.
Eligibility:
  • South African (BEE) citizen under the age of 30.
  • Driver’s licence preferred.
