The Fresh Produce Exporters Forum (FPEF) is the industry body representing South Africa’s fresh produce exporters. A leading fruit export company with a strong footprint in global markets is offering an internship opportunity for a Data Verification Co-ordinator. The successful candidate will support the Commercial Teams by managing intake and packing list data to ensure efficient packing and loading operations.
Working Hours:
08:00 – 12:00 and 18:00 – 22:00 (including weekends) from 1 November 2025 to 31 January 2026.

08:30 - 17:00 Normal working hours applicable for the rest of the year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process EDI files and resolve data discrepancies.
- Maintain master data and distribute updates to packhouses and depots.
- Provide Helpdesk support to internal and external stakeholders.
- Verify intake information and ensure document accuracy.
- Upload and verify packing lists; distribute EMRs to relevant parties.
- Ensure compliance with export documentation standards and resolve discrepancies.
Education & Experience Requirements:
- Matric (Grade 12); a tertiary qualification in Logistics, IT or related fields is advantageous.
- 1–2 years’ experience in an EDI environment preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel); knowledge of logistics/export systems.

- Strong organisational and planning skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Effective communication and relationship-building abilities.
Eligibility:
- South African (BEE) citizen under the age of 30.
- Driver’s licence preferred.
