A leading marketer and exporter of fresh produce (from the farm to the store) is currently undergoing unprecedented growth through outstanding leadership and superior teamwork.
This Fresh Produce Exporters Forum (FPEF) member is looking for an enthusiastic graduate to place in their offices in Somerset West, a Finance Intern under the BEE, FPEF Graduate Placement Programme.
Purpose: The purpose of the position is to provide assistance to the finance department, particularly with debtors, by processing accounting transactions, following up on payments, and providing other administrative functions in areas of responsibility. Reporting to the Financial Manager.

Knowledge, skills and experience required
- Matric with a Tertiary qualification in Accounting or similar. BCom degree preferred.
- Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminology.
- Strong mathematical background (arithmetic and its applications)
- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices up to trial balance.
- Knowledge of legislation.
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services.
