The following FPEF member; a highly successful and fully integrated family-run fruit production operation with a long and rich history in South Africa’s agricultural sector, is seeking a Quality & Compliance Intern to join their dynamic team in Tzaneen. The business is part of a larger group and is known for its commitment to quality, sustainability, and innovation across the value chain.
Key Learning Areas and Responsibilities:
- Support the quality and compliance team with administrative tasks.
- Assist in managing regulatory documentation and processing certificates (e.g., MRL analyses, phytosanitary certificates).
- Coordinate with international clients on compliance requirements. (Global G.A.P., SIZA, BRCGS)
- Help maintain quality control documentation and ensure accurate record-keeping.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong administrative and organizational skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Degree in Food Science, Quality Assurance, Agriculture, Horticulture or a related field.
- Previous exposure to quality or compliance environments (e.g., vacation work or part-time roles) will be beneficial.

Remuneration:
