player and the first choice in animal feeds for poultry, pigs, sheep, dairy and beef cattle. The following
vacancy exists within the Technical Division at NUTRI FEEDS.

The successful candidate will be responsible for (included, but not limited to):
• On-site Quality Control:
o Manage raw material quality control on-site, including sampling and testing.
o Conduct standard analyses on incoming raw materials.
o Oversee final feed quality control on-site, ensuring representative sampling and testing.
o Conduct analyses on in-process raw materials and final feed.
• ISO 9001 and ISO 22000 Compliance:
o Develop and implement ISO 9001 and 22000 standards at mill level.
o Act as the Feed Safety and Quality Leader on-site, guiding the team to compliance.
• Legal Compliance:
o Drive Act 36 and Act 101 legal compliance.
o Ensure veterinary export compliance.
• Quality Team Leader:
o Manage and motivate the Quality Team, ensuring compliance with safety requirements.
o Ensure complete traceability of all processes followed.
• Sales Team Support and Customer Care:
o Provide continuous technical advice and support to customers.
o Evaluate product performance and address customer complaints promptly.
• Risk Control:
o Support teams in bio-security compliance and Salmonella monitoring.
o Report on monthly results and investigate risks.
• Training and Development:
o Participate in Study Groups and train feed mill personnel.
o Engage in research and product development.
Requirements:
•MSc (Agric) Animal Science with relevant experience.
•Compliance with Act 27 of 2003 (Natural Scientific Professions Act).
•3 years of experience in animal nutrition.
•Attention to detail, leadership, and decision-making skills.
•Analytical ability, computer literacy, and self-motivation.
•Excellent people skills.
